NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026: What to Expect

With more than 40 new vehicle and mobility product launches, visitors can expect a significant number of new introductions across the six-day event.

However, the Expo is not limited to new vehicle launches. The exhibition will bring together a broad cross-section of Nepal's mobility industry, including passenger vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, commercial vehicles, EVs, hybrids, charging solutions, automotive technologies, safety systems, financial services and other mobility-related products.

This makes the event particularly relevant for both automobile enthusiasts and prospective buyers. Visitors will be able to see products from a wide range of brands and segments in one location while getting a closer look at the technologies shaping the future of transportation in Nepal.

NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026: Special Attractions and Events

The 2026 edition is not being positioned simply as a place to see new vehicles.

One of the major additions this year is a series of free learning sessions at the Auditorium Hall of the Blue Pavilion at Nepal Police Club. The sessions will bring together industry experts, professionals, academicians, business leaders and other influential personalities. Discussions will cover topics including:

  • Mobility and transportation
  • Automotive technology
  • Road safety
  • Consumer awareness
  • Skills and employment
  • Entrepreneurship
  • The future of Nepal's mobility sector

The learning sessions are intended to make the Expo useful not only for vehicle enthusiasts and prospective buyers, but also for students, professionals, entrepreneurs and people interested in Nepal's wider mobility ecosystem.

Red Bull Activities

Red Bull, the Powered By Sponsor and Beverage Partner, will also organize activities during the Expo, adding another element to the visitor experience.

Vehicle Financing and Banking Facilities

Visitors considering a vehicle purchase will also find financial services at the Expo. Global IME Bank, the Co-Sponsor, will provide special banking and vehicle financing facilities, while NMB Bank and Siddhartha Bank are associated with the Expo as Banking Partners.

Charging and Mobility Technology

The Expo will also go beyond vehicles themselves, with charging infrastructure, automotive technology, connectivity, vehicle safety solutions and other mobility-related services represented through exhibitors and partners.

NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026: More Than Just an Auto Show

The second edition of NAIMA's Mobility Expo comes at a time when Nepal's automobile industry is undergoing a significant transformation. Electric vehicles have rapidly changed the passenger vehicle market, while hybrids, electric two-wheelers, charging infrastructure, connected technologies and new mobility services are becoming increasingly important.

Against this backdrop, the 2026 Expo offers a broader look at where Nepal's mobility industry is heading. Rather than focusing on a particular vehicle or segment, the event brings together the different parts of the mobility ecosystem under one roof.

NAIMA itself has expanded considerably since its establishment, growing from 21 member companies to 36 major member companies within its first year. The association has also introduced initiatives including the NAIMA Mobility Journal, NAIMA Monthly Mobility Sambaad and NAIMA Capacity Building Training Sessions.

Beyond the Expo, NAIMA has highlighted its work in areas such as road safety, skills development, employment, mobility-sector research and collaboration with government agencies.
